It is healthy yet tasty and can be severed with both roti and rice. It is a perfect dish for family brunch or small get-togethers where you want to just eat something healthy and light. It is a great side dish recipe that can be served in both lunch and dinner. This nutritious beans recipe has very less calories and can be consumed by people of all age groups. The other ingredients used are some spicy red chillies, grated coconut, onion, and mustard seeds.     • Step 1

      To prepare this delicious dish, wash the green beans and chop them in a bowl. Then, heat oil in a pan over medium flame and add mustard seeds to it and let them splutter.

      Then, add curry leaves along with urad dal in the pan, and cook for a minute.

    • Step 3

      Now, add the chopped beans and red chillies in the pan and cover the pan with a lid. Let the beans cook for about 5-7 minutes.

      Once the beans are cooked, turn off the flame and remove the pan from it. Add salt as per your taste and mix well.
