Who says soups are only for the winters, here is a tempting soup recipe that will treat your taste buds with it's amazing flavours. Coco peanut soup is an easy-to-make soup which is made using simple ingredients such as coconut milk, raw peanuts, gram flour, tomato, cucumber, green chilies and spices. This lip-smacking soup is totally refreshing after a long day at work and can be made in just 20 minutes. Serve this yummy soup with garlic bread or soup sticks to your loved ones and relish it's mouth-watering flavours with them. So try out this recipe and make the best out of limited ingredients available.


  • Step 1

    To start with, take a chopping board and chop cucumber, green chilies, tomato and coriander leaves on it. Take a bowl and mix coconut milk and gram flour in it. Mix it well and let no lumps remain. Keep it aside.

  • Step 2

    Take a non-stick pan, keep it on medium flame and heat oil in it. Add the cumin seeds in it and stir till they splutter.

  • Step 3

    Add the green chilies and saute on a medium flame for a few seconds. Add the coconut-gram flour mixture in the pan and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes. Stir continuously.

  • Step 4

    Add the tomatoes, cucumber, peanuts, salt and ½ cup of water.

  • Step 5

    Mix everything together and cook for about 5 mintus. Keep stirring side by side.

  • Step 6

    Garnish with coriander and red chili powder if you want. Serve Hot.
